Economy
Value
Forget about aspiring to a BMW, this is a near top of the tree Vectra which is available for the price of an older bog standard 316i. Splendid value for money.
Costs
For it's a Vauxhall. Against: it's a 2.6 V6 - work it out for yourself.

On the road
Driving
Really very quick away from the lights, then the power just keeps coming and coming as you change up through the gears.
Performance
Thirsty, but can be driven as if you were in your granny's Fiesta and will return good mpg.

Living with it
Reliability
No problems so far.
Image
I think it's really nice, and far better than the new brick shaped monstrosity! Ok, people think of the Vectra as a repmobile, but really, who cares.
Comfort
The seats are lovely and comfortable - keep the leather soft with some Autoglym cream and you'll be rewarded with years of comfortable motoring. Much better than a Mondeo too.

Security and Service
Security
Suggest some visual deterrents in addition to alarm and immobiliser you get as standard.
