What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Most people like it,and are surprised by it.I have never had anyone say anything bad about it,they seem to like the general styling and shape of the vectra and that it looks a more expensive car than it really is.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes.For its reliability and general well made feel to the car.And of course its looks.Although i have written this about the saloon,my Vectra Active is in fact a hatchback,but this model is not listed in this guide.
What are you likely to buy next?
Maybe something a little smaller from the same manufacturer,Astra etc

Did you get a good deal and why?
I did get a good price for my part exchange,although i feel i should have tried to get a bit more,mud flaps,or a free service etc
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
I liked the look of the car with its narrow sleek side windows and snub rear end.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
The vectras a larg car to drive round town,but very smooth.Its at home on the motorway,well it would be as it was originally aimed at the fleet,rep market.It looses power in the higher gears especially going up hills and i find myself changing fro 5th to 4th on occasions.
What's it like to park?
With its smooth power steering and excellent electric mirrors i find parking easy.The car has good all round vision,apart from the front pillars which are on the thick side.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Apart from having the radiator mounting bushes changed,a common fault on the vectra c,with new improved ones under warranty absolutely nothing has gone wrong and the car has been totally reliable.
What's most practical about your car?
Its comfortable and spaciouse with a huge boot.All switches are easily accessible in the cockpit.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
The flick of a switch puts the lights on,front and rear reverse, for about 30 secs,and then automatically turns of.Enough time to light your way down a dark alley,or driveway to get you safely to your door.
