Overview
The Vectra saloon isn’t as popular as the hatchback or estate, but does have a huge boot for buyers looking for the more traditional look. It’s also very well equipped and even provides the driver with a measure of satisfaction. But this all-purpose Eurohatch still lacks the character to cut it with the prestige brands and looks set to challenge Primera, Laguna and C5 rather than Passat or Mondeo.
Residual values are likely to be weak once fleets start disposing, so Vectra will be a sensible used car choice.
