Vauxhall Viva (2015 - 2019) 1.0 SE (A/C) 5d Owner Review

In their own words
After almost four years of ownership we have not had any major expenditure. I have given it a 4 star rating rather than 5, because on two occasions, both on very cold mornings the car would not start. It sounded very similar to a combination of flat battery and very low compression. However after a five minute rest the car eventually started after much cranking over. It has not happened since, and I have never discovered the cause. (The battery is still good.) We find reversing a bit of a task as the peripheral vision is obscured by the seat belt anchorage covers at each end of the rear screen. ( I award 2 stars for this.) The tyre size (the same as our previous Astra 1.6 ) is far too big for a car of this size and weight. This combined with the TPMS which will not let you drive with under 30 lbs pressure gives a hard ride, but you get used to it.
