Value
For a used car, with this kind of performance for 12-13K for a 3/4 year old relatively untouched example, this car is the best option for a performance sports model.
Costs
Drive it really quick, invest your shares in BP, drive it reasonably carefully (if you can) it will do 35 mpg. Servicing, cheap as chips. It was the costs that swung it over the boxter for me.

Awesome, fastest thing I've ever driven.

Sooooooooooooo fast, this thing burns the road. When you first drive it be care.

Living with it
Reliability
Never had an issue with reliability and the car is driven every day, come rain, snow etc.

We looked at a Z3, Boxster, SLK, and a Lotus and the VX wins hands down. The badge was never an issue, everyone stares at this beast.
Comfort
The only reason it doesn't get a 5 for comfort is the difficulty you experience in getting out of the car. Very difficult in a tight garage. Put padding on the walls and watch the keys don't scratch the paintwork when you climb out. Very comfy otherwise.

People tend not to let you out of Junctions as much as when i drove a Peugeot 206.
