Vauxhall VXR8 Hatchback (2007-2009) boot space, practicality and safety
Looking for a different model?
(change model)
The VXR8 hasn’t been subjected to any official Euro NCAP crash tests but does at least come with the usual safety features you’d expect on car of this size with electronic stability control, electronic brake-force distribution, as well as six airbags and active head restraints.
The boot capacity is a generous 496 litres and there’s a ski hatch for carrying longer items, but annoying the rear seats do not fold down which limits what you can carry. There are big storage bins in all four doors and map pockets in the front seat backs. No roof rack or tow bar options are available.
