Economy
Value
Bought mine from Schouwenaar Opel in Holland for approx £14k inc UK VAT on return. I even had Vauxhall badging fitted. Much better service than the UK dealerships have ever offered.
Costs
Slightly thirsty, averaging only about 31mpg, but I live in a busy area where you can't travel far before you hit the brakes, so maybe it's actually not that bad.

On the road
Driving
Surprises other drivers. Good roadholding. Only loses it if you're really silly. Predictable understeer. Traction control is good.
Performance
Instant kickdown. Lowish top-end speed, but then again this is an MPVā¦

Living with it
Reliability
Been very good so far (32,000 miles). I replaced the oil after 1000 miles with full synthetic, which it's hardly touched. Only had normal services so far.
Image
Looks better than my previous MPV, but it's still a Vauxhall/Opel. It's never going to be a Ferrari, is it? And I'm not Clarkson either.
Comfort
Only complaint is that the second row seat only has a central lap-strap belt, and that the second row is narrower than expected. Boot is excellent. Trim and seat frames beginning to creak.

Security and Service
Security
Not bad. Standard alarm/immobiliser etc. I understand it's ok, but not the very best system out there.
Service
Service in Holland - 5 stars. UK - probably about a 2 (as they treat people like pond life).
