Economy
Value
In this trim state, it's a little expensive for what you gain over the lesser models.
Costs
Astra mechanicals make this simple to service and cheap.

On the road
Driving
Very comfortable on long runs. Engine noise doesn't intrude too much, even whilst pulling 3500rpm at 70 mph. Regardless of what the press may say, this vehicle does not feel happy on bends!
Performance
Not a rocket ship by any means.

Living with it
Reliability
Oil consumption is becoming a concern after 50,000 miles!
Image
Silver would appear to be the colour. Some base colours look darn right flat.
Comfort
Good supportive seats, and a light airy cabin. This is a relaxing car to drive as long as you don't try to push it like a family saloon round the twisty bits.

Security and Service
Security
Luckily not tested.
Service
Typical Vauxhall. Never truly inspiring, never totally imcompetent.
