Vauxhall Zafira 2.0 16V GSi 5d (2002/52) Owner Review

-
Economy
Value
GSi expensive, but worth it for the spec. Engine superb and economical (approx 30 mpg) considering 200bhp power output
Costs
Unbelievably cheap to service, thought they had made a mistake on the bill!
-
On the road
Driving
Fat low profile tyres keep it on track well, body roll around sharp corners, but that's common with all high-sided MPV's. Superb brakes and responsive steering
Performance
Blistering acceleration when pushed, but docile if you want. Excellent overtaking ability. Quicker than an Audi TT! Ideal for upsetting aggressive BMW drivers as they see a 7 seater MPV (and a Vauxhall at that) leave them behind at the lights

Living with it
Reliability
Run for 2 years so far and not one fault
Image
Ok it's an MPV, but there's no other on the market that looks as good. Sporty looking without being boy-racery
Comfort
With Recaro front sports seats, perfect comfort. Rearmost 2 seats small and best for kids

Security and Service
Security
Alarm went off for no reason twice, apart from that fine
Service
