Vauxhall Zafira 2.0 DTi Elegance 5d (2001/51) Owner Review
Want to know everything there is to know about this car?
-
Economy
Value
Mediocre spec for 'top of range' model.
Costs
Fuel economy (35-40mpg) poorish. Got 50mpg from my 98/S Laguna DTI Estate.
-
On the road
Driving
Drives well, good in corners.
Performance
Reasonable for diesel, but lags well behind Peugeot/VW rivals.
-
Living with it
Reliability
Not broken down, but various niggly problems.
Image
Family runabout.
Comfort
Front seats ok - rears cramped and centre lap belt is a safety disgrace on a 'family' car.
-
Security and Service
Security
Standard immobiliser/alarm/deadlocks, but not tested yet thankfully.
Service
Pretty indifferent - I actually got the classic 'they all do that sir' re driveshaft problem!
