Summary
What does this car say about you?
It says I'm a mum of a largeish family that has to spend her life ferrying kids from place to place (true!).
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
They like it but don't rave about it.
Would you buy this car again and why?
No I wouldn't, it's too big and bulky when it comes to parking, and we've had too many problems with it.
What are you likely to buy next?
In my dreams, a Nissan Qashqai. In reality, probably a Meriva or a C Max.

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Franchised
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£7,000
When did you buy the car?
May 2009
Did you get a good deal and why?
We got a decent trade in price for our old car (a Meriva in pretty poor nick) and the salesman also price matched the car as we had picked an 06 plate one which was sold to someone else before we signed for it.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
We wanted the versatility of a 7-seat car that could be adapted.
What was the dealer like?
Your usual kind of car dealer!

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
I find it a bit clunky and heavy to drive particularly when doing short distances like shopping and the school run. Not too bad on the motorway but doesn't like high speeds. I feel it's built for mid speed.
What's it like to park?
A nightmare! It's like a tank, the visibility is quite poor (especially at the front) so it's difficult to judge distances.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Up till it was 6 years old - just minor ailments, but in the past year we've had to fork out several times on brakes and engine issues.
What's most practical about your car?
Versatility of 5 seats with a big boot or 7 seats with a small boot. Ideal for larger families, or for when you may have to give lifts to more people.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
It doesn't really have any gadgets, but I make good use of the Air Con during the summer.
