What does this car say about you?

I really don't know! I like that it is a good spec with a lot of "nice to haves.".

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

Well I couldn't give a monkey's what neighbours think, but friends and family like it.

Would you buy this car again and why?

Yes I would. I am very happy with it. I would stick to the Design spec. I have had Peugeot, VW, Vauxhall, Ford and Renault and never had the same car twice before.

What are you likely to buy next?

Probably another Zafira. The diesels sound good in theory but I have heard mixed reports on their reliability, so will probably stick to petrol. Also I would imagine the 1.6 is underpowered so would go at least 1.8.

Did you get a good deal and why?

I think I got a decent deal, I kept an eye on prices for a while after. I collected the car 3 weeks after putting the deposit on (I was waiting for my redundancy money to come through!) and the prices had gone up. So I was glad to get mine when I did.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

I have 5 children so I needed a 7 seater, but didn't want (and couldn't afford) a large MPV. Also looked at the Kia Carens but the Zafira looked a much better option.

What was the dealer like?

Very good. Would use them again. Very minor problem with the centre arm rest not locking, so they got me a new one.

What's it like to drive?

Plenty of power for me, although could do with a 6th gear for motorways. The blind spot at the corner of the windscreen can be a problem and you have to take it into account as it can hide a complete car!

What's it like to park?

Very easy. Never really had much trouble.

Have you had any problems with the car?

Touch wood, no. I have had 20,000 trouble free miles, so far. I had Continental Premium Contact tyres on which have only recently needed replacing, so I suppose the car has had the best part of 30k out of them - unfortunately it seems that tyre isn't available now so I have gone for the Premium Contact 2.

What's most practical about your car?

The sizable boot but also the number of seats. Plenty of room all round. If I had to use all the seats most of the time it probably wouldn't be as good.

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

I am very happy with the Design spec and wouldn't go lower. I love the trip computer as I like to work out my mpg and this encourages me to drive economically.
