Would you buy this car again and why?

Apparently the newer diesel model is more reliable so I would say yes if I wasn't about to downsize.

What are you likely to buy next?

Another diesel - I love the power and economy. Smaller Audi or VW for status, or the Ford Focus because of positive write ups.

Bought through the 'partners' scheme which attracted additional discount.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

Passenger seats (6) and towing power.

What was the dealer like?

Initially helpful, but long delay until delivery and poor communications during the wait.

What's it like to drive?

The power is great to have available. It's a family car and not the greatest at handling at low speeds but copes well well on motorways or pulling uphill! Its very roomy and serves a family well for multiple purposes.

What's it like to park?

Care is needed when reversing because of the higher driving position with the vehicle pillars restricting your view of smaller cars. That said, neither my wife nor I have had a problem in the six years we have been driving it.

Have you had any problems with the car?

Regular engine management faults (at least once a year sometimes more) always requiring new parts. Ok during warranty but not since!

What's most practical about your car?

Ease of access into/out of. Raised driving position. Abundant power available with good economy. Space inside for passengers or luggage.

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

Independent (optional) radio CD device for rear seat passengers, keeps the kids quiet.
