What does this car say about you?

I like retro things and I never got the chance to drive the older version

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

They think its a lovely car with an instant iconic status

Would you buy this car again and why?

Probably not, if I did I would probably buy the 1.8T model or wait for the price of the LHD RSi model to drop to an affordable level

Subaru Impreza Sti, I miss my old one!

Did you get a good deal and why?

I feel it was a good deal, full winter pack, with leather seats and low mileage

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

What was the dealer like?

The Dealer was an Audi specialist and did not know much about the Beetle or the price he should have had it up for sale

What's it like to drive?

Very easy driving car, fantastic on the motorway. Has a very heavy clutch which may put people off

What's it like to park?

Very easy to park, the large windows of the Beetle make it easier to visualise where you are. The front of the car takes a little getting used to because of the very lond dashboard

Have you had any problems with the car?

Had to take the car to VW to have the coil packs replaced, common problem apparently, an electrical fault with the dash lights on the heater and the starter motor is faulty, which again is a common problem and expensive to repair!

What's most practical about your car?

Very easy to drive, smooth, quiet and has good handling which is assisted by ESP.

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

Heated leather seats are great, a must have option.
