October 2015

Yes I got a bargain the car is immaculate for the year and mileage.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Superb! Mine is not standard, it's been lowered 40mil all round with a front strut brace, engine has a cold Air induction kit and stainless Cat-Back exhaust system and a Re-Map, goes like the clappers for a 1.6 16v. Sticks to the road like glue!
What's it like to park?
A pain in the backside when it's raining because there's no rear wiper but other than that fine!

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Yes, however not much. The fan belt started making a noise the day after I bought it, I was expecting a cheap fix unfortunately it turned out to be the fan belt tensioner which cost £42 to replace plus £60 labour and of course a new belt! The central locking has never worked from the remote key fob. My car has done 122,000 miles and seems to run like a dream I did have to top the oil up not long ago but the 1.6 16v engines are known to burn a little oil over the miles, coolant level got a little low and upon inspection it was thought a possible leaking radiator was to blame or possibly the coolant level sensor, so I added a bottle of K-Seal to my coolant and cleaned the sensor with WD-40 and never had a problem since.
What's most practical about your car?
The boot space! Huge boot, I have a subwoofer in my boot and the pram fits in no problem at all the rear seats have limited space which is a pain in the backside for getting a baby seat in and out!
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
The cup holders are epic!
