Volkswagen Caravelle (2003 - 2015) 2.0 BiTDI Edition 25 (180bhp) 4MOTION 5d DSG Owner Review

The Caravelle is a (very) expensive version of the Transporter, but it is worth it if you can afford it as you get a LOT more for your money. There are used bargains to be had. My 4x4 version can be all things to all people, and do them all pretty darn well. Luxury limo, 7 seat family and dogs and luggage transport, motorcycle carrying van and capable off roader. Newer ones have more economic engines. Be careful buying a BiTurbo older than 2013 as they had disintegrating oil coolers which destroyed the bores at about 50k. My engine was replaced under warranty and now runs very nicely thank you.
