yes I did. The guy seemed keen to sell it and I spoke to the VW garage that had maintained it. Full history came with the car. Around 4k cheaper than his forecourt prices

Size for friends and family, weekend day van for kids sports etc

What's it like to drive?
Fantastic, really puts a smile on your face. The insurance quote was also very very reasonable with that red phone company! Updated 2010 June: Really getting into this car now, kids love it, nice motorway cruiser and good aroud the A roads. Fuel is averaging between 32 and 35mpg.
What's it like to park?
Not too bad, despite its size. Better not too reverse too far though.
