What does this car say about you?

I chose a car with some style, which is so often missed in the other german competitors. Mine is Candy White with cream / beige nappa leather interior. I think it looks very understated but very smart.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

Don't speak much to neighbours, but saw a guy looking closely at the car the other day at a tesco car park, and the following week a guy came over to me in a car park and said it was a lovely looking car, so draw your own conclusions.

Would you buy this car again and why?

Yes definately, although it will be replaced soon when the new Passat is launched this year.

Another CC probably.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

Special offer on Business Lease £249 / month direct with VW. Too good an offer to ignore. Car has lots of standard kit and looks so handsome.

What was the dealer like?

Very good. Had one on demo for a full day and the whole experience of dealing with VW was very good. Lots of information always available even an on-line tracking facility to monitor progress of my car through the order system to delivery.

What's it like to drive?

Much better than I was expecting. It has replaced a Mercedes C350 CDi Sport, and in all aspects the CC is a much nicer drive. Better steering, much better ride, and oooooooooooh it's so quiet and refined. Knocks spots of the Mercedes. The 140 BHP version seems perfectly adequate in normal day to day drive and has a good diesel pull at low revs. Cruises effortlessly at 75 in almost total silence, amazing.

What's it like to park?

It's big, and has a small rear window because it's a Coupe, so one has to watch out. Standard parking sensors are good safeguard, but if you cant park a car, then buy an UP.

Have you had any problems with the car?

No, but only had it a short while. Seems very well built and solid.

What's most practical about your car?

Well, its very big, has lots of room in the back, and a big boot. Comes with a DAB radio as standard which is excellent.

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

I enjoy listening to music and Radio 4 Extra in the car, so I upgraded the sat nav / media unit to the RNS 510 and chose the Dynaudio Speaker upgrade. Extremely pleased with both.
