Economy
Value
Better looking, better handling alternative to usual hot hatches.
Costs
Hasn't cost much above normal servicing in last three years.

On the road
Driving
Awsome handling. Superb feel for the road. Needs more power.
Performance
Ok for a 1.8 16v. Lacks outright speed, but pace can be kept high due to stupid corner speeds.
-
Living with it
Reliability
No major problems in four years abuse. The only time it broke down was due to a loose wire in the distributor.
Image
Still looks cool. If kids in the street shout 'Nice car mister' you know it still looks good.
Comfort
Super comfy front seats and driving position is spot on. Passengers complain about the space in the back (do you care?)

Security and Service
Security
Mine had an after market alarm/immobiliser fitted. Make sure yours has too.
Service
Labour costs are high, but if you buy the parts and do it yourself, it's pretty basic stuff and wont break the bank.

Engine
Uses oil, but according to the handbook this is normal.
Other
