Volkswagen Eos (2006 - 2014) 3.2 V6 Sport FSI 2d DSG Owner Review

In their own words
What a great car, brought it for my wife as a 40th birthday present, but she really wanted an SUV so I got her a Tiguan and I drive the EOS. Fast, reliable and very economical considering the weight of the car and a big V6 under the bonnet. Well built and lovely to drive.
A couple of tips - get front tyres with plenty of grip as if you buy the V6 you will need them when you take off in the wet. I had Pirelli P1s that were dreadful in the wet, changed to Federal Formosas and they do a great job.
Second and very important - never open the roof partially and turn the ignition off, as the roof will move out of position according to the many sensors and you will need a trip to the local Eos experts to reset the fault codes and get the roof to close.
My favourite part of the driving experience is the exhaust note (sad I know) but under acceleration it just sounds glorious, and boy does it go...
