Volkswagen Fox (2006 - 2012) 1.2 Urban Fox 3d Owner Review

The Volkswagen fox…. This is a strange one for me I bought this because I got offered a deal that was too good to refuse and to be fair there’s a lot to like about this car, the space inside is fantastic it can seat 4 in comfort and the boot isn’t too shabby for a small car either and it came with decent equipment levels for the time and the car has been very reliable for myself Over these last few months other than a flat battery (my own fault) Bad points: there’s no denying it, the 1.2 in this fox is PAINFULLY slow, even the most patient, gentle driver will agree that it’s painfully slow and the interior quality is very bad it’s awash of cheap plastic and while the 1.2 is slow, it doesn’t seem to return very good fuel economy doing 100 miles in this uses nearly a quarter of a tank. In summary: it’s a difficult one, while the car isn’t bad in itself it is very cheap to insure and it has a lot of room and it’s quite nice to drive, it has a lot of drawbacks like the interior quality, poor fuel economy for a city car and the 1.2 makes a snail look like a Ferrari, I would recommend this car overall but with one condition, get the 1.4 you’ll thank me!
