What does this car say about you?

I am as dull as the dashboard.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

Love the colour and the look of it from the front and the high driving position........from the AA truck.

Would you buy this car again and why?

NEVER EVER EVER! wouldn't touch a German-badged car with a barge pole: too unreliable. Now I know why they don't use the old slogan on adverts "if only everything in life was a reliable as a Volkswagen".

The price at the time - it was either a Fox or a Citroen C1.

What's it like to drive?

1.2 is gutless for the size of the car it's not as good on fuel as people make out. The engine has to be worked very hard with a full load. Shame they didn't do a diesel model like they did in the Lupo range.

What's it like to park?

Not too bad, will fit in most spaces. Rear window is high though.

Have you had any problems with the car?

What hasn't!! At 1,000 miles the passenger side electric window motor failed when the window was down in the pouring rain; went for a main dealer service the mechanic over-tightened the sump plug and it leaked a full sump of oil all over the drive; at 8,000 miles every time the engine was switched off and the key removed it beeped, took it to main dealer for them to tell me it needs a software update and they did it, 1,000miles later same problem occurred again then the engine started cutting out while driving. Took it back to the main dealer to be told cars should be expected to go faulty with all the components that go into one, on closer examination by VW it needed a whole new ignition barrel and keys and the had to be ordered direct from Germany. Thankfully all covered under warranty!!.

What's most practical about your car?

The high driving position, and the seats arent too bad at all. And the amount of cup holders you get!!! 4 in the front and 2 in the rear yet the car can only seat 4.

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

The heated rear window keeps your hands warm when you're pushing it.
