What does this car say about you?

It's not overly flash yet definitely not boring, I feel very comfortable in it. Its a unisex car so not really a typical man or woman's car. My dream car would be a Austin Martin DB5, but for now this is a good fit for me.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

I have not heard anyone say anything about it, yet I do recommend it to friends and family.

Would you buy this car again and why?

I would certainly go for an other VW Golf Tdi again, as it's a great car to drive and very reliable.

What are you likely to buy next?

That depends a little on my finances, I would love an Audi A4 Tdi soft top, but probably it will be another Golf Tdi, as a new Audi would be quite expensive.

Did you get a good deal and why?

I think it was a good price, the dealer put in a 12months MOT and a 3 months warranty, there were also 4 new tires on the car.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

Had an accident with my previous car.

What was the dealer like?

The dealer was very friendly, I had asked to keep an eye open for a VW Golf Tdi as I have driven Golfs all my driving life. He contacted me when one came in and was happy for me to do a test drive and have an AA once over.

What's it like to drive?

Driving is a pleasure as its a Tdi, the extra Turbo is really good and gets you out of spots fast. 6 gears is also good as you safe quite a bit on diesel on Motorways. I can get 500miles on a 50litre fill-up which is great. Town driving gives me 480 miles.

What's it like to park?

Parking is a very easy as I can see exactly where the car finishes, no boot sticking out. I can get into spaces with only a couple of inches space back and front. Superb power steering.

Have you had any problems with the car?

So far everything has been fine and it is a very good runner.

What's most practical about your car?

It starts every time, even when it's very cold, it has a lot of space as the back seats fold down neatly and I have moved my children when they were at university several times with no trouble. Including ironing board, guitars, amplifiers etc. etc.

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

The ability to put lots of things in the boot is my favourite, I can hardly believe the amount of stuff I can put in it, plus 2 or three bikes on my bike holder.
