Most people think it's just a Golf which is good. Those that care realise it's a Gti .That suits me just fine .If you want a hot hatch "in your face type "go for the Civic R !

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

Retired and gave back last company car .Loved the two mk2 GTi I owned in the 1980's and never had a problem with either . I have a factory five year guarantee on this one so it will be a keeper.

What was the dealer like?

Lookers Middlesbrough . Not good to deal with . Poor communication, very pushy would not go back.

What's it like to drive?

Great ! Breadth of ability is marvellous . I live in a rural area and it is great fun to drive round in. Equally good on motorways or the family shop. Typical Golf really .

What's it like to park?

Simple with front and rear parking sensors and good visibility.

Have you had any problems with the car?

Totally reliable .Wonderful build quality.

What's most practical about your car?

Super boot for size of car and loads of room for four to travel comfortably.

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

Auto cruise control is marvellous ...even if it takes a bit of getting used to !
