Value
Seems very well built and being an 11 year old car, it really does feel very solid.
Costs
Parts are not as pricey as some would like to think. Servicing is straight forward.

Driving
So much fun to drive. It really does feel like it's on rails. Safe and solid. Great.
Performance
A lot of cars are now quicker, but this is the car that they all had to beat. It's THE benchmark of hot hatches STILL!
-
Living with it
Reliability
It's VW. As long as it's looked after it will always be faithful.
Image
I bought mine cus I always wanted a GTi. Blends in well, but still has the VW and GTi badge.
Comfort
Mine has been lowered and a bigger (noisier) exhuast fitted. It's ok. Driven more comfortable though.

Security and Service
Security
Combined alarm and immobiliser, plus secondary immobiliser. Should have better standard fit security though.
Service
Not been to main dealer.
