Everyone loves it

February 2005

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Having lowered the suspension, it grips the road like its on rails, there is absolutely no body roll when taking corners and the pick up is very good after 2000rpm (in all gears). My daily driver, whether its in traffic, going up hills, or motorway, always a pleasure to drive.
What's it like to park?
Easy to park, good all round visibility.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Central locking and electric windows are temperamental, needed attention a few times, but a very quick fix.
What's most practical about your car?
Good for everyday driving as well as performance.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
All four electric windows. The heated electric mirros are a treat in the winter. I have replaced the seats with GTi Anniversary Recaro's, the suspension has been dropped and have fitted an Induction kit and stainless exhaust.
