the GL version of the golf tdi is a pleasure to drive always puts a smile on my face nippy economical with a bulletproof 1.9tdi engine always seeing me get 600 miles to a tank of diesel making it a very cheap car to own always starts first time , the car is now 20 years old and I cant bring myself to part with it the GL has sunroof ice cold air con 5 speed gearbox drives sure and sound proper German engineering at its best
