Did you get a good deal and why?

Yes we paid a very fair price as the car had only ever been used by a VW employee and had very low mileage.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

We wanted a reliable compact family car that was great for city and motorway driving and that is exactly what we got. Such a great car that is still running perfectly 11 years later!! I would go so far as to say that the Golf is the perfect hatchback. It's small enough to park easily in busy towns and cities but is roomy enough that you get a comfortable ride long distance on the motorway and can fit plenty of luggage in the back. The 1.4 petrol engine is nippy and fun to drive. Great car, handles well, stylish and brilliant value for money.

Easy. The perfect size.

Nothing in 11 years! We have had to replace the battery.
