all like it. 'golf gti' reputation preceedes the vehicle itself, which then fulfils expectations

Would you buy this car again and why?

i don't think so. the car has been excellent in the time i have owned it and i have no complaints. it excels in serving it's purpose in every way but just doesn't suit me

thought i did at first but later found that they generally sell for a lot less than internet guide prices

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

wanted a nice quick car. got it for less than guide price

What's it like to drive?

feels solid and safe. in the wet it can feel a little heavy and threaten to lose grip easier than you would expect

What's it like to park?

fine. good visibility

Have you had any problems with the car?

nothing. has lived up to vw prestige

What's most practical about your car?

5 doors. don't think i would go back to 3 door in future. to live with every day the golf has been brilliant

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

standard sound system is best i have ever heard in any car. front loading 6 disc cd multi changer is brilliant. favourite physical attribute is the smooth gearstick. feels lovely and is pleasure to use. also love the feint whistling of the turbo as it spools up
