Economy
Value
Expensive to purchase, but resale values remain high.
Costs
Main dealer servicing can get expensive.
-
On the road
Driving
Suspension under damped, car wobbles something terrible over bumps! Changed shocks to Koni yellow dampers, and kept standard VW springs, both comfort and handling transformed!
Performance
Pulls well as standard, pulls great with a Revo re-map to 150 Bhp and economy up 3 mpg too!

Living with it
Reliability
Mass air sensor failed at 45,000.
Image
Still one of the best looking hatches around, a tidy version will not look out of place whatever the occasion!
Comfort
Supportive seats, smooth ride, really eats up the miles on the motorway in 6th gear.
