Economy
Value
Used prices very high, but depreciation very low for this model. Lots of extras.
Costs
Put it in 6th gear on the motorway and you'll be looking at a return of around 50mpg!

Driving
Good cornering and pleasant acceleration. Comes into its own when you put your foot down on the motorway.
Performance
Lightning quick in diesel terms. Faster than a GTi and up there with most 2-litre petrol engine cars. Turbo lag gives a slightly disappointing 0-60 time, however great acceleration at motorway speeds.

Living with it
Reliability
Had the car less than a year, however no problems thus far.
Image
With its alloy wheels and smooth curves, if it wasn't for theTDi badge, you wouldn't believe it was a diesel.
Comfort
Very comfortable, figure hugging seats and good driving position. Very quiet cabin even at high speeds.

Security and Service
Security
Alarm and immobiliser as standard. Been left in some dodgy car parks and hasn't been stolen yet.
Service
Great customer service from dealer, however service was a bit pricey considering there was nothing wrong with the car.

Problems and Ownership

Engine
None, apart from the girlfriend filling it up with petrol.

Put unleaded in it and expect to pay in excess of £100 to flush it out.
