What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Amazed at economy. Car has done 140,000 miles and looks like its done 100,000 less so exceptionally hard wearing.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes. Performance & economy mix are best of any car I've owned. Out of the 4 mk4 Golfs I've had since 1999 this is by far the best. (others were 90PS & 100PS Diesel, 1.8T GTI)
What are you likely to buy next?
Not looking at present but likely to be another Golf at some point

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Amazing performance. Previous car was Golf GTI and this feels faster in real world driving. Diesel suits my driving style better as you don't need to rev as hard as the petrol GTI. Suspension is much softer and thus better over bumps.

No problem, good visibility
