Did you get a good deal and why?
I felt it was good deal at time given the golf had 26000 miles on the clock. Hard to find diesel golfs that have not travelled round the globe.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
The balance between performance and economy

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
The performance is excellent but you need to be light footed in first and second gear. Worst thing is the suspension - not very firm and a bit 'stodgy'. To be honest prob shouldnt have the GTI badge..

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Not yet. the car has climatronic and in winter can mist up really bad on the inside. However constant use of the climatronic seems to have sorted this
What's most practical about your car?
The driving position is excellent and plenty room in back for 2 big adults. Boot space better than most hatchbacks of this size
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
6 disk in dash CD player is quality
