What does this car say about you?

Want power AND economy. Had a MG ZR 160 before and average mpg was 30. This will happily do 40mpg+ with a lead foot.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

Like it. More understated but still looks smart. Only ever had positive things said.

Would you buy this car again and why?

Yes but would go for leather, climate control or limited edition anniversary model.

Nothing for a while. I'm too busy having fun!!!!!!!!!!!

Did you get a good deal and why?

Yes. Full year warranty free, 1000miles from last service and mot. Had brand new rear suspension set up too and the important FSH.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

Performance but economical. VW build quality. ALWAYS REMOVE THE DRIVERS DOOR LOCK!!!!!!!!!!!!! Weak point of the security system on VAG's.

What was the dealer like?

Outrams garage in Whitley Bay. Friendly and helpful.

What's it like to drive?

Okay. Mine has been treated to lower suspension and 18" Audi A8 alloys. Grips and grips but still has slight bodyroll.

What's it like to park?

Fine though I can never seem to park close to a kerb, always about a foot off, which is fine for the wheels.

Have you had any problems with the car?

Usual maf sensor and temp sensor problems. Done on warranty. As said, delock the drivers door asap!!!

What's most practical about your car?

So much torque and very economical. Just had ChippedUK ST3 remap done and the car FLYS!! This is how VW should have made the car. Economy is slightly up too, which is always nice.

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

The loud pedal. Pulls like a rocket through all 6 gears and keeps up with a BMW 335d for acceleration!!
