What does this car say about you?

As it only has the GTi badge on the back, it seems quite understated which is fine by me. And I suppose it does say quality (which may not be me). I wonder if those who like cars but don't have a Golf really know how good they are or because they are so popular that people will try anything else to try and be different perhaps

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

My dad loves them but is probably too tight to get one but absolutely loves driving quick cars.My sister is green with envy as she has too many children to squeeze in (4) so unlucky sis.

Would you buy this car again and why?

I wish I'd bought it years ago more to the point, but if in the future VW do a newer equivalent then yes.All I can say is find one and drive it and I defy you not to be impressed

Did you get a good deal and why?

I think and I hope we did. An 02 VW GOLF GT TDI 150 with 154k but immaculate and with full VW service history doesn't appear too bad when looking around and should be good for at least double that

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

Yeah-our 05 HONDA ACCORD SPORTS TOURER I-CDTi was MOOSIVE and felt a bit like a bowl of porridge to drive although a fantastic machine if its what you need. We don't anymore.

What was the dealer like?

Really nice genuine bloke. SDSC cars in March Cambs. The car sold it to us really but a dodgy dealer HE IS NOT.

What's it like to drive?

It really is awesome. Having had the 130 engine previously which was fantastic,this really is something else. Immenseley powerful, incredibly good handling,so much torque and comfortable. You can drive it easily and sensibly in town, but if you want to push it, it responds effortlessly and rapidly-be careful

Have you had any problems with the car?

Well, far too early to tell as only had 7 days and I'm sure Mr & Mrs Hindsight are out there giving it "why did buy that car with that mileage for?" But being a VW fan and previous owner, youkind of get a feel for them, but fingers crossed it will be fine

What's most practical about your car?

Its just good all round,but economy is just so good it makes the car a practical choice

Climate,150 bhp engine,beautiful driving position, heated leather
