They instantly think its worth a fair bit, when they ask what engine is in it, they know it can shift. Even the girlfriend wants one now.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes, Everything from performance to its great reliability and economy. i can't fault this car and the choice of colour is endless.
What are you likely to buy next?
150 PD Tdi mk4 R32 Audi a5 3.0 Tdi Audi s4/5 VAG Cars are in my opinion the best.

A great deal, Low milage for the car and quite a few optionals.

Looks, Performance, Economy and Reliability.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
The steering is very light while still giving good feedback of the road. It handles like its on rails and its very comfy to drive long distances. Performs amazingly, with a remap to up the power to 150bhp its a dream to drive and the remap removes almost all turbo lag. in fact my next car will likely be another MK4 golf.
What's it like to park?
Very easy to park, although its a lot wider than most other hatch backs its still very easy to get used to.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Negative Deviation Fault: it was down to a pin hole in one of the vacume hoses, very simple fix but its a common problem with the TDI group. Hole in flexi pipe: Easy weld fix but i went through with a new exhaust. ABS+Traction fault: Again a common fault, it was the loom damaged behind the passenger front wheel, bit of soldering to fix.
What's most practical about your car?
Lots of room in the car and plenty of boot space. While it has everything you need inside from cup holders front and back, little trays with bits and pieces everywhere. Including a sun visor for your Rear view mirror! If you get one with plenty of optional s, this car is practical for everyone.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Cruise Control, Climate Control, on board computer as well as the ability to turn off the ABS and Traction in bad weather.
