What does this car say about you?
Although its a high performance car its much more grown up than many of the usual boy racer GTIs out there.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Everyone loves it.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Whilst I love the car it has to be said reliability has been poor. Certainly it hasnt lived up to the VW reputation.
What are you likely to buy next?
Probably an AUDI.

Did you get a good deal and why?
Bought it off my dad who owned it from 1 year old, I gave him a better price than hed been offered for part ex.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
My dad was about to part ex it for a MINI so I thought it was a good oportunity to buy a used car with a history I could trust.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
V6 engine is a joy, the noise it makes puts a smile on your face. 4 wheel drive is actually quite usefull for pulling into small gaps in the wet at busy roundabouts.
What's it like to park?
Good visibility and whilst I wouldnt have bothered with parking sensors before they are actually very usefull.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Water leak caused no end of eletrical issues. Side impact airbag sensor failed - £165 to repair. Battery failed then alternator - was an expensive week. Uneven tyre wear could never be fixed fully. Glovebox jammed shut, for such a minor thing fixing it required purchasing an extremely expensive plastic catch.
What's most practical about your car?
Pretty much looks like a normal Golf with just a few give away badges and twin exhausts. Doesnt attract much attention for such a perfromance car.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Climate control is excellent and reversing sensors are handy. Leather heated seats are amazing, dont buy one without.
