Yes - as said before, mix of performance and economy.

BMW 123d - if commute gets longer. Leon Cupra if commute gets shorter!

Price was to be expected, professional service though with service and MOT before taking it away.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Performance and economy mix, reliable build quality.
What was the dealer like?
Professional, approachable and kept to their promises.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Great - slightly softer than GTI, but lower than normal Golf, so has sporty feel. Great pull across the rev range with use of supercharger and turbocharger.
What's it like to park?
Corners are easy to learn, but pillars are fairly thick - you get used to it eventually.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Yes, turbo wastegate valve needed replacing - common fault on these cars, not expensive to fix.
What's most practical about your car?
Engine - economy of a 1.4, performance of a 2.0-litre turbo.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Winter pack, or turbo gauge where oil pressure is on other VW cars.
