Not a lot - Golf's are so ubiquitous that reading a personality from one would be like judging from whether one drank tea with or without milk...
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Universally liked - even non-Golf fans, get in and say they like, and are then surprised to find it's a Golf.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes - it does all I need from a car, and ass long as only one car is feasible, this is the best combination of features.
What are you likely to buy next?
Another Golf, unless I can afford that Aston I've always promised myself (and then I'd keep the Golf for my dog...).

Did you get a good deal and why?
Yes - I was trading in a recently bought mistake (Honda Jazz, horrid car) and my couple of months with the trade-in cost very little, while the Golf was priced comfortably below the book price.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
What was the dealer like?
Friendly, helpful - have used this dealer for servicing for many years, and this is the thrid car bought there.

What's it like to drive?
Comfortable, fast enough, economical.
What's it like to park?
Mostly easy - took a while to work out where it started and ended but now that I'm used to it, no toruble at all.

It does everything a small/medium hatch should do.
