A man of the people. It's a Golf - everyone's got one.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Everyone loved the Golf. Girlfriend took great delight in nicking it to drive to work on a regular basis.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Definitely would buy again. It's a Golf after all - fantastically dependable and excellent to drive.
What are you likely to buy next?
Another VW - either a Golf or a Passat.

Did you get a good deal and why?
Found a dealer through Broadspeed. They were fantastic and really helpful. Got a very nice deal on the price.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
It's a Golf. A legend of this time.
What was the dealer like?
Really good. Had to drive down to Sawston in Cambridge (am located in the North West), but worth every mile.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Really, really good. Feels solid and very responsive. Good pull in lower gears and nice and smooth a higher speeds - handles well in the corners too.
What's it like to park?
Really easy. Responsive steering and a good size for urban parking.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Had a very minor problem with the electrics within 6 months of new - that was sorted under warranty with minimum hassle.
What's most practical about your car?
Fantastic to drive, good boot load capacity.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Cruise control and ESP - the auto lights were a bit annoying though - the number of people that chase you through a car park telling you you've left your lights on.... lol
