Yes. Can't say why I got such a good deal as the franchise in the next nearest town offered a fairly uncompetitive price.

Good deal on price and options from VW dealer.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Good. On the open road it is smooth and rapid. Suspension is just right for the type of car. The engine can be a little gutless at low revs which, until you get used to it, makes it a little too easy to stall. Once it's got it's legs, it has cracking acceleration, even uphill. It's given a few people quite a surprise! The brakes are a little noisy after it's been left sitting for even less than a day. They also feel a little overwhelmed and aren't as forceful and responsive as I'd like them to be. It can be a pain to keep clean, especially the rear of the car and the side view mirrors. However, the washers (windscreen, rear windscreen and headlights) all work very well. Coverage from the headlights on dip is fine laterally but the distance covered out front could be better.
What's it like to park?
A piece of cake. Good all round visibility and precise steering all help.

Have you had any problems with the car?
Slight glitch with the cruise control that was dealt with promptly by the dealer.
What's most practical about your car?
Economy ie fuel consumption, even through town and when "not sparing the horses" on the open road.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Rear parking sensor.
