Volkswagen Golf Hatchback (2004 - 2008) 2.0 GT TDI (170ps) 5d Owner Review

I Love this car, I do a 80 mile round trip everyday so I tend to leave quite early in the morning which means roads are clear and PC Plod is still asleep. I rag the tits off this thing on the way to work as I go round way and cruise on the motorway on my way home. Even when I'm ragging the tits off this thing it still returns minimum 36 MPG. and cruising at 80 I get 50+ MPG and that's no word of a lie. I've only ever been beaten by newish model BMW's in this car and I've had quite a few races, 1st & 2 Gear are a bit poo before a remap and there are a few flat spots after that but once you get a remap let me tell you now this car transforms into a death star chasing down the mothership of all ships. Take it a bit easy going round corners as this car is not chuck able due to the heavy front engine you will slide out and end up facing the wrong way looking at Susan in her merc c220, trust me I've done it.
