In their own words
This is a 16 year old that I took back in P/X for a car I was selling stands me in £0 because the previous owner was told the car needed a lots of money spent on the car. l was told the car needed a new turbo which it didn’t. It just needed cleaning cost £3.50 I also had to do rear brake calliper. Drive shafts and did a timing belt and water pump for peace of mind 3 years 20,000 miles later still going strong. I have had one breakdown which turn out to be a earth cable had snapped. I like the handling, performance, economy and the dsg box. I have had mk3 few mk4’s and this my 2nd mk5 golf. But my first diesel Golf they are no more expensive on service part’s than any other mainstream cars of this type. My car has a few minor faults but nothing serious and to be expected on a car of this age and mileage but doesn’t use oil or coolant. I have tried newer cars but this one drive so well I see the point in changing. When I do change it will most likely be another VW Golf or Audi A3
