My family think its a great buy and my son is now looking for a slightly more sporty model to replace his car.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Certainly would,cant fault it,.
What are you likely to buy next?
Having had a lot of different cars in the past including a golf,I would go for a VW again,it does what it says on the tin!!

Did you get a good deal and why?
Bought the Golf on the spur of the moment at an Auction,I know not ideal,but it has worked out,no nasty surprises,so far.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
For economy,was replacing my BMW 318i,which had become a bit thirsty,The Golf so far is an excelleny buy from an economical loint of view.
What was the dealer like?
Manheim auction house were great,giving me time to test drive and inspect the car,and the chance to refuse the car if it had a fault,not evident prior to purchase.Tobe safe I had mechanic go over it first.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Visability is good all round,so driving is stress free,Long trips are fine the driving position and seats are comfortable,have done about 500 miles a week so have given it a good test.
What's it like to park?
Again the good all round visability and the turning circle,make parking easy.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Not so far its very solid and reliable,I have though replaced the battery,as it was loosing its charge.Passed its mot with ease,not a lot to go wrong with this model.
What's most practical about your car?
Great economy,very good on a long run,ideal for two people and a weeks shop,equally at home with four adults on a long journey.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
I like the way the seats fold to give quite a good sized area for a small hatch.Plus as I am tall and my wifes short the steering wheel rake and adjustment is the best we have ever had.
