I would had not I needed something bigger a with a bit more 'poke' for the more motorway miles. The build quality alone was enough to recommend it.

Pretty good, did not have to go there very often!

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Very sure footed and comfortable. Diesel engine has more torque than most 1.6 petrols so less need to change down but lack of horse power and heavy body shows from a standing start.
What's it like to park?
Easy enough but a bit of a rear blind-spot

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
After 3-years and 54,000 miles I am sad to see this go! Other than the occasional service the dealer only needed to replace a bolt that fell out the rear door after 50K and the bulb in the ashtray... Even on the original front Michelin Energy tyres when it went!
What's most practical about your car?
Virtually indestructible, average 48 mpg with 52mpg possible on the motorway. Comfortable and roomy.
