What does this car say about you?
does a car really say anything about you? probably that I am an average car and drive an average car.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
They like it, but then I think its more the badge they like than the car.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Wouldnt buy one but it costs me nothing to run so cant complain. If I was to buy a car it would be another civic, VW need to learn from the class leader, the civic by comparison was sublime in the way it ran, drove, can you tell I miss it?
What are you likely to buy next?
Not likely to buy a car for a long time, the golf is decent transport until then.

Not bought , company car to replace a civic, thought it was going to be an upgrade..........
What was the dealer like?
businesslike, they see many of us suits....

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
feels well planted and refined apart from a couple of minor rattles which I cant seem to pinpoint. Like the first ford focus, might not seem that complimentary but these vehicles were epic. (still my civic did beat that though!)

Its a small hatchback, no problems

Have you had any problems with the car?
car drives well, looks im still not too sure on. had a few golfs before and they looked like they had their own personality.The new golf could be a kia or a toyota , it just doesnt look individual anymore.
What's most practical about your car?
It is spacious for its size and the cabin does feel plush compared to french cars (had a berlingo!). But I came from a honda civic before this and frankly this feels underwhelming by comparison. Not as versatile as the civic ,(those magic seats are amazing!)
