Probably that I am sensible.... Well I like to think so.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

I think just about everyone likes it. Some family members also drive Volkswagens and they are also impressed with quality and reliability.

Would you buy this car again and why?

Yes. I am impressed with the overall quality. The road tax is low, and the economy far better than I was used to with my previous car. Average mpg for local running about is in the mid fifties, but over 60 mpg is achievable on a run, so similar to Volkswagens claimed economy.

What are you likely to buy next?

Probably another Volkswagen. I had intended to buy an Audi, but the Golf offered similar refinement, but was in my opinion better value. The model I bought offers a good level of specification.

Did you get a good deal and why?

I was very pleased with the deal. I got a better price than expected for my part exchange, and the dealer was very flexible when it came to negotiating and even covered the cost of a cherished number transfer.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

German engineering, practicality and economy.

What was the dealer like?

Very professional, knowledgeable in respect of the vehicle, and not at all pushy. It was a very pleasant and easy transaction.

What's it like to drive?

I really like it, comfortable, smooth, responsive and with enough power when needed. The car feels nice and taut, but then it is a German built car.

What's it like to park?

Easy, but then the front and rear parking sensors are a real bonus in that respect.

Have you had any problems with the car?

No, no issues so far. The car came with a 12 month Volkswagen warranty.

What's most practical about your car?

It is roomy and offers plenty of load space with the rear seat folded down. It suits my needs perfectly.

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

It has to be the front and rear parking sensors that are standard on the model. I also like the automatic lights and wipers. The touch screen digital music system is also a nice feature.
