Driving it
What's it like to drive?
A 1.6 TDI easy to drive in town and to park. Out of town - high gearing and virtually no torque below 1.5 k rpm means inflexibility, more gear changing and having to drive in a lower gear. Layout of cabin controls is v poor - using them is a pain (like heater switches, headlight adjuster, dash light control, w'screen wipers, and MFD display). Door mirror visibility mediocre, and cabin heater very very slow to warm up (1.6 tdi).
What's it like to park?
Quite easy - but the door mirrors make the effective width more than you would think.
-
Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
V early days - but cabin vibration at low speeds, and more condensation than expected.
What's most practical about your car?
Less than I hoped - better driving position than previous Mazda but thats about all.
