Its amazing and very very nice especially with premium paint on the car.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Absolutely good quality solid feel with lots of power with good economy. Dealer were friendly and get my custom again any day.
What are you likely to buy next?
Perhaps the VW Up for my other half.

Did you get a good deal and why?
Amazingly I managed to win this car through John Lewis. The dealer and all staff were all very hospitable and very friendly. They did chuck in a cool VW key ring and a set if 4 mats which would normally cost £80.00 which was quite nice!

What was the dealer like?
Dealer staff amazingly friendly and made me feel like a VIP along with my family. Very good high level of service! I get the impression this is how they deal with all their customers. Showroom brand new and very comfortable. Offered tea and coffee straight away.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Very very smooth. Bumps and potholes taken care of very well. Minimal wind noise. Very quick with sports button on even though only 1.4. Steering responsive and vision very good despite the small window in the a pillar. Stop start blue motion seemless and sensor at the front of the car which detect when it thinks you will crash (a little too sensitive at times) but makes insurance premiums amazingly low.
What's it like to park?
Couldn't be easier with the flat back.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Nothing, works like a dream. Never had any VW before but I can see why drivers have such high opinion of golfs.
What's most practical about your car?
Excellent space for my family including the two young children. I love the entertainment system that links in with iphone.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Active cruise control is very intuitive and makes driving on motorways completely effortless.
