Volkswagen Golf Hatchback (2013 - 2020) 1.6 TDI (105bhp) Match 5d Owner Review

A really great everyday car. Regularly got over 500 miles to a tank, free to tax, and driving experience was very easy with adaptive cruise control as standard. Could probably have done with a sixth gear, but still got great MPG with five. In 40k miles of ownership, I had one costly issue which was a sensor in the front passenger seat, which required a new seat airbag fitting, but apart from that, only a few wear and tear items. I was very happy with the car, only having to sell it on due to the ULEZ in London, but I have replaced it with a MK7.5 1.4 TSI, so essentially the same car, just better.
